Delhi - Bhubaneshwar - Konark - Puri - Gopalpur on Sea -
Belgarh - Rayagada - Jeypore – Chitrakote – Jagdalpur -
Narayanpur - Kanker - Kanker – Raipur - Delhi
Day 1: Arrive
Delhi :
Arrival and meet our representative at airport / railway
station in Delhi. Transfer towards hotel for overnight halt.
Free for own activities.
Day 2: Delhi - Bhubaneshwar :
As per the sheduled Catch the connecting Flight to
Bhubaneshwar. Arrival and transfer to hotel. Afternoon
sightseeing of Bhubaneshwar. In the evening enjoy famous
Odissi dance.
Day 3: Bhubaneshwar – Konark – Puri :
Early morning after breakfast visit Rock cave at Udaigiri
and the drive to visit Sun temple of Konark which is also
known as the Black Pagoda. After lunch, continue driving
towards Puri. Overnight at Puri.
Day 4: Puri – Gopalpur-on-Sea :
Drive to Gopalpur-on-Sea. Its a famouse sea beach in Bay of
Bengal.
Day 5: Gopalpur on Sea :
Day excursion to Baliguda to visit the different Villages of
Desai Kondh.
Day 6: Gopalpur on Sea - Belgarh - Rayagada :
Drive to Belghar to visit Huttiya Kondha Tribal Villages &
Weekly Market at Kothagarh. Later proceed to explore the
villages of the primitive Kutia kondh Tribes. In the
afternoon drive down to Rayagada.
Day 7: Rayagada – Jeypore :
In the morning visit Chittakona Wednesday Market which is
frequented by the Dongria Kondhs, Bhumias tribes etc. While
returning back visit Desia Kondhs village. In the afternoon
drive to Jeypore.
Day 8: Jeypore :
Day excursion to Onkadeli Market to visit Thursday weekly
market. This market is visited by the most interesting
tribes of Orissa, the Bondas. You can meet Bondas while they
are coming to Market. Also visit Lamtaput village of Gadaba
Tribe.
Day 9: Jeypore – Chitrakote – Jagdalpur :
In the morning visit Friday market at Kundali to meet Sana
Paroja and Mari tribe. In the afternoon drive to Jagdalpur
and visit Anthropological Museum. Later continue driving to
Chitrakote. Enjoy the Chitrakote fall at the time of Sunset.
Return back to Jagdalpur.
Day 10: Jagdalpur :
Visit Saturday Market at Mardoom which is visited mainly by
Maria and Muria tribes. In the afternoon visit Kanger Valley
National Park. Visit some of the tribal villages in the
national park. There are many forest villages of Dhurba and
Maria tribes.
Day 11: Jagdalpur – Narayanpur - Kanker :
Drive to Kondagaon which is midway between Jagdalpur and
Kanker. Visit Shilpgram. Take an excurion to Narayanpur
village to visit Sunday weekly market. Its famous for finest
Baster handicraft like bell metal figures, wood craft,
wrought iron and bamboo artifacts. Witness cock fight at the
market. After visiting Narayanpur, drive to Kanker.
Day 12: Kanker – Raipur :
In the morning drive to Raipur. Afternoon proceed for
excursion to Sirpur to visit the recently excavated Buddhist
site where many Buddhist relics have been found.
Day 13: Raipur – Delhi :
Fly to Delhi. Met on arrival, either transfer to hotel or
proceed for onward journey towards home town. |
