Day 1: - Arrive
Delhi
Arrive Delhi. Check in at hotel. Full day city tour visiting
Qutab Minar, Laxmi Narayan Temple - The Place of Gods, India
Gate - The memorial of martyrs, Parliament House - The
Government head quarters. In the afternoon take a city tour
of old Delhi covering Jama Masjid - the largest mosque in
Asia, Red Fort - the red stone magic, Gandhi Memorial - the
memoir of father of the nation. Also enjoy the sound and
light show in the evening. Overnight at hotel in Delhi.
Day 2: - Delhi to Fatehpur
Drive to Fatehpur. Check in at hotel. Visit the Havelis of
Fatehpur.
Day 3: - Fatehpur to Bikaner
Visit the Shekhavati villages - Nawalgarh, Mandawa and
Dundlod and drive to Bikaner to arrive there by evening.
Check-in at the hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 4: - Bikaner to Jaisalmer
Morning visit to the Junagarh Fort, Lalagarh Museum and
after lunch drive to Jaisalmer. Arrive there by evening.
Check in at hotel. Overnight in Jaisalmer.
Day 5: - Jaisalmer
Morning sightseeing of Jaisalmer. Enjoy city tour covering
Jaisalmer Fort - built on the highest point of the Tricuta
hill, Sun Gate. Outstanding features are Megh Durbar and
various temples, Salim Singh - Ki- Haveli and
Patwon-Ki-Haveli - some of the beautiful mansions with stone
carving and lattice work of breathtaking intricacy, Lodurva
- a masterpiece of architectural grandeur. Afternoon at
leisure. As the sun sets, the sky goes up in flames and
night descends softly, creating a new monument every
evening. Overnight in Jaisalmer.
Day 6: - Jaisalmer to Jodhpur
Drive to Jodhpur. Check in at the hotel. Latter half-day
city tour visiting the Mehrangarh Fort situated on a low
sandstone hill, including Moti Mahal and Phool Mahal. Visit
Jaswant Thada, an imposing marble memoriam built in 1899 AD
and the museum located in the Umaid public gardens.
Overnight in Jodhpur.
Day 7: - Jodhpur to Ranakpur
Morning drive to Ranakpur. Check in at the hotel and later
visit the beautiful Ranakpur Jain Temples. Overnight in
Ranakpur.
Day 8: - Ranakpur to Udaipur
Morning drive to Udaipur. Check in at hotel. Rest of the day
leisure. Overnight in Udaipur.
Day 9: - Udaipur
Morning visit the City Palace, Jagdish Temple, Sahelion Ki
Bari (Queen’s resort for her friends) and Fateh Sagar Lake
and Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir (Folk Art Museum). Afternoon
free for own leisure activities. Overnight in Udaipur.
Day 10: - Udaipur to Kota
Morning drive to Kota by road visiting Chittaurgarh enroute.
Overnight in Kota.
Day 11: - Kota to Pushkar
Morning drive to Pushkar visiting Bundi enroute. Arrive and
transfer to hotel. Overnight in Brahma City - Pushkar.
(Room/tent during fair period).
Day 12: - Pushkar
Day at leisure to visit the temples (during fair period
experience the real feel of rural India with cattle and
colorful bazaar). Overnight at hotel/ tent in tourist
village.
Day 13: - Pushkar to Jaipur
Morning drive to Jaipur. Check-in at the hotel. Afternoon
visit the Maharaja’s City Palace (Museum) and Jantar Mantar
(the observatory), Albert Hall Museum, Ram Niwas Gardens;
drive past Hawa Mahal/the Palace of Winds and through the
pink rose residential/business areas of Jaipur. Overnight in
Jaipur.
Day 14: - Jaipur
Morning tour of Amber Fort, the ancient capital of the state
until 1728. Visit the Jagmandir or the Hall of Victory and
Temple of Kali. Return to the city passing by Jal Mahal
enroute. Afternoon free for own activities. Overnight in
Jaipur.
Day 15: - Jaipur to Bharatpur
Morning drive to Bharatpur (Peharsar). Visit the
internationally renowned Keoladeo Ghana Bird Sanctuary.
Overnight at hotel in Bharatpur.
Day 16: - Bharatpur to Agra
Drive to Agra visiting Fatehpur Sikri enroute. Emperor Akbar
built Fatehpur Sikri in 1569 AD. Visit the graceful
buildings within the city including Salim Chisti’s tomb,
Jama Masjid, Panch Mahal and other palaces. Later visit the
world famous Taj Mahal built by the Mughal Emperor Shah
Jahan in 1630 AD for his queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her
mortal remains, Agra Fort, Itmad-Ud-Daullah built by empress
Noor Jehan in memory of her father. Overnight in Agra.
Day 17: - Agra to Delhi
Drive to Delhi and get dropped at the international airport
for taking flight to onward destination. |
